Words Working 4 Women (WW4W) sells words - books, articles, speeches, poems - and uses the funds to empower women entrepreneurs in developing countries through microcredit loans.
WW4W was created by author and women's activist Anne Summers, in partnership withCobaltBlu and is a means of creating a genuine exchange between people with means - those of us with the
money to buy words - and people, in this case women, who need funds to invest in their businesses so they can support themselves and their families. WW4W has a portfolio of loans to
women entrepreneurs with Kiva, the online microcredit lender. Our portfolio will grow as we sell more words and earn more funds.
